About This Project

In the wake of 9/11, former World Trade Center ‘Windows on the World’ chef Michael Lomanico shows why New York is still the greatest food city in the US. We tour the classics – Deli’s on the Lower East Side to make potato pancakes, cheese shops in Little Italy to pull homemade mozzarella, the organic farms and vineyards of Eastern Long Island, ending with an operatic family dinner in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
